BB2.2-Laboratory Testing – Materials

Ole Martin Løvvik

  • Description

The thermal properties of materials, their fire resistance and climate properties can be characterized by Hot plate apparatus, Laser flash analysis, Thermogravimetric analysis, Differential scanning calorimetry, Fibre content, Cone calorimeter, Single burning item, Single flame source test. The thermal conductivity of the material can be measured with a guarded hot plate apparatus. The durability of the material can be measured as a result of accelerated ageing processes by climate chamber..

  • Standardisation

CETMA – Testing follow reference standards in the sector (es. EN standards)

  • Innovation features

CETMA: tests can be adapted based on the customer needs
